Puglia bound

Hey everyone, how are your vacations going so far? I'm back in Bari and i'm finally enjoying sunbathing and swiming in some of my favourite places. Puglia is a very charming region, i love how the scenary changes every 60-100 Km, you can always discover new bays and beatches. The one in these pictures is one of my favourites because it's not very popular therefore is very relaxing. I debated for a while whether to upload these pictures or not because i'm usually very self-conscious about my body but then i thought oh what the hell and decided to do it.
Speaking of sunbathing and all that jazz, in the next few days i'm going to share with you what's in my beatch bag and what kind of sunscreen i use to protect my skin from UVA.

How to fix broken makeup.

I dont' know about you guys but i hate when this happens to me, especially if it's some quality makeup.
But fear no more, today you'll learn how to fix it so you won't have to trow it away! The tutorial is very easy it's good for eyeshadows or any kind of powdery compact makeup, all you need is:

  •  a small makeup spatula or a little spoon or whatever you feel comfortable using
  • some alcohol ( no, not the one you drink) make sure it's scent free
STEP 1.
Collect all the pieces of your poor broken makeup, in my case it's a beautiful bronzer by Lancome.

 STEP 2.
Smash all the pieces until you have a fine powder using the spatula or the spoon, you can do this step directly in the pan or using some baking paper, empty the bronzer on it and smash it, you can even fold the paper in two, with the pieces of makeup in the middle and press it.

STEP 3.
When you have a nice fine powder ( it has to be a lot more fine that the one i have in the picture), poor it back in the pan and add few drops of alcohol and mix it until it reaches the consistence of a paste.
Then spread it uniformly into the pan and smooth it using the spatula or the spoon.
Let it air dry for at least 24h, depending on the size of the makeup and voilà! The alcohol will evaporate leaving you with a brand new ready to use compact makeup!

How to organize your makeup.

How many times have you struggled to find the perfect lip pencil that was there somewhere or that eyeshadow that you haven't seen in a while? I know i have. Today i'm going to share with you some tips on how to keep your makeup clean, organized and quick to find. I have divided my two drawers using some plastic containers i got at the dollar store and the plexiglass ikea makeup organizer.
I tried to divide them in categories, that way you will aways know what goes where.
The plastic containers are perfect because they are easy to clean and you can take them out whenever you want if you need to do your makeup somewhere else.
If your drawer is deep enough, i highly recommend the Ikea organizer, it's perfect to store pencils and eyeliners and it has a lot of slots where to put lipsticks on in my case my favorites nail polishes of the season. Using a old perfume box, i finally managed to organize the crazy amount of samples i have, this way they are not all over the place. I hope you'll find this useful, if you want to know exactly what is in my makeup collection, write a comment below.

Spero abbiate trovato utili i miei consigli.

OOTD: Happy birthday brother!

Hey guys, i'm now back home in Milano and i can finally share with you some pictures from my little brother 18th birthday party, i guess he's not that little after all now. The evening was lovely and the terrace was very charming, you could see the sea from it, a perfect touch. My dress was very summery and quite transparent, i still have to figure out what to put underneath, because of the low cut on the back is very difficult to find some proper lingerie to wear.
Anyways, my hair was up in what my hairdresser called a "knotted ponytail". I kept the makeup very simple, just a wash of gold and brown on the lid and some bronzer.
I couldn't resist posting a picture of the cake because it's such a masterpiece! My brother loves bar-tending so the cake itself was a cocktail, it looks so real, the base looked like sand. I love it.

Incredibile .

Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation REVIEW

I am one of those persons who struggle a lot to find the perfect drugstore foundation due to my fair complexion and my sensible skin but when i do, oh it is love!
I tried the Rimmel "Wake me up" foundation because it was really hyped in the beauty community and i was a little unsure at the beginning because of the fine glitters inside, i was afraid of the disco ball effect but this products does wonders! And i never realized it until i saw a picture i was taken few weeks ago, i couldn't believe that was my skin, so luminous and healthy looking; i swear no photoshop was done on it ;) This foundation just reflects the light beautifully an it's very dewy, perfect for my very dry skin. The shade 103 "True ivory" it's a little tiny bit too dark for me but it will be perfect for the summer time. I recommend this products to anyone with normal to dry skin who wants to achieve bright healthy looking skin.

Fashion Camp DAY2 OUTFIT

Here's the outfit for the second day of Fashion Camp, i particularly like it because i never get the chance to wear this dress i got from H&M ages ago and the shoes are incredibly comfortable. The bag as a big sentimental value because i got with my best friend and also i thought it was fun and perfect for a fashion camp. I hope you'll like it.

Cherry pie MAKEUP

Hello hello sweethearts, today i would like to share with you my makeup of the day.
I love cherry toned lipstick and i think they look particularity flattering on pale skin tones, they give that snow-white-innocent look i really like.
In this look, the eye makeup is very simple, a very fine line of eyeliner and a vanilla eyeshadow, maybe a little bit of highlighting in the crease area and on the brow bone. A little flush on the cheeks and then the cherry lipstick, i recommend using a cool toned one because it will make your teeth look whiter.
As for mascara i used the Rocket because it gives a lot of volume and it's very black.
I hope you like this look. Oh, the lipstick i used is from the Zoeva "Sweet love" lipstick palette, it's great because it has a lot of different colors, all very pigmented, the only annoying part is the application.
