in my bag; i learned to do so from Rory of the Gilmore Girls, i know, that show i super old but i still love it. I wanted to share some of my favorite books at the moment and do a little review on them, so if you happen to like them and find them interesting you can read them as well.
It might sound a little weird but i love dystopian novels, 1984, Fahrenheit 451, The Hunger Games, are some of my top favorites, so as soon as i started to read this book i was immediately hooked. The book i want to talk you about is the Maze Runner, it's a trilogy that takes place in a post apocalyptic future where nothing is as it used to be anymore. It's well written, very adventurous and very tricky, if you like logic games this is the book for you. I'm currently reading the second book and i like it as well, i can't wait to start the third one. I'll post a little bit of the first book's plot so you can decide if you want to read it or not, i personally recommend it, of course.
I hope you guys give it a try, stay tuned if you want to read more book recommendation.
See y'all tomorrow :)
"When Thomas wakes up in the lift, the only thing he can remember is his first name. His memory is blank. But he’s not alone. When the lift’s doors open, Thomas finds himself surrounded by kids who welcome him to the Glade—a large, open expanse surrounded by stone walls.
Just like Thomas, the Gladers don’t know why or how they got to the Glade. All they know is that every morning the stone doors to the maze that surrounds them have opened. Every night they’ve closed tight. And every 30 days a new boy has been delivered in the lift.
Thomas was expected. But the next day, a girl is sent up—the first girl to ever arrive in the Glade. And more surprising yet is the message she delivers.
Thomas might be more important than he could ever guess. If only he could unlock the dark secrets buried within his mind."
