Chanel Little Black Jacket

Good morning everyone, i'm finally back with a very exciting post! Yesterday i had the honor to attend Chanel's Little Black Jacket vernissage at Rotonda della Bersana. 113 pictures taken by the one and only Karl Lagerfeld of celebrities wearing the iconic little black jacket. The location was very beautiful, every detail reminded me of the impeccable taste of the maison.
Everything was already very exciting as it was but when i walked in the party i felt like a child in a candy shop. The room looked like a black canvas with colorful strokes, the music was very soft and ethereal, for a second i thought i was dreaming.
Then Franca Sozzani, editor of Vogue Italia, walks right next to me, i could not believe it; then i look up and i see Anna Dello Russo with his clique of handsome models. It was like a magazine coming to life.
The biggest surprise that almost none was expecting was Karl himself. He walked into the party and stared at the band playing. I could not figure out who they where and why he was so interested in them,  don't get me wrong, they were really good.
The exhibition was incredible, every picture was unique and meaning full, every celebrity wore the iconic jacket differently.  If you happen to be in Milano between the 6th and the 20th of April, go check it out, it's free and amazing!

Book recommendation

I really enjoy reading, it's one of my favorite things to do when i have spare time. I always carry a book
in my bag; i learned to do so from Rory of the Gilmore Girls, i know, that show i super old but i still love it. I wanted to share some of my favorite books at the moment and do a little review on them, so if you happen to like them and find them interesting you can read them as well.
It might sound a little weird but i love dystopian novels, 1984, Fahrenheit 451, The Hunger Gamesare some of my top favorites, so as soon as i started to read this book i was immediately hooked. The book i want to talk you about is the Maze Runner, it's a trilogy that takes place in a post apocalyptic future  where nothing is as it used to be anymore. It's well written, very adventurous and very tricky, if you like logic games this is the book for you. I'm currently reading the second book and i like it as well, i can't wait to start the third one.  I'll post a little bit of the first book's plot so you can decide if you want to read it or not, i personally recommend it, of course.
I hope you guys give it a try, stay tuned if you want to read more book recommendation.
See y'all tomorrow :

"When Thomas wakes up in the lift, the only thing he can remember is his first name. His memory is blank. But he’s not alone. When the lift’s doors open, Thomas finds himself surrounded by kids who welcome him to the Glade—a large, open expanse surrounded by stone walls.
Just like Thomas, the Gladers don’t know why or how they got to the Glade. All they know is that every morning the stone doors to the maze that surrounds them have opened. Every night they’ve closed tight. And every 30 days a new boy has been delivered in the lift.
Thomas was expected. But the next day, a girl is sent up—the first girl to ever arrive in the Glade. And more surprising yet is the message she delivers.
Thomas might be more important than he could ever guess. If only he could unlock the dark secrets buried within his mind."
