Good morning love-bugs, how are you today? Yesterday i had the honor to work backstage at the iconic Moschino's 30th anniversary fashion show and let me tell you it was the best runaway i have ever seen! The show itself was divided into the 2014 collection and the Legends. I was lucky enough to work with the legends so i had the chance to dress and chat whit some icons like Gisele and Pat Cleveland. They started remembering the old times and their relationship with Moschino and i was just enchanted, i was part of something, i was seeing history of fashion being made.
Then Franca Sozzani and Rossella Jardini, creative director of Moschino, walked in and hugged the top models, i almost fainted. I will never forget Gisele incredibly loud laugh and Pat spraying her perfume everywhere. The difference between the old school and today's models is huge and i realized that when Pat was saying that young models don't "work their shoes" before the catwalk anymore, the icons didn't just wear the clothes and walked, they cared.
The catwalk was crazy, the all stars did their own thing, they started spinning and waiving on the runway, having their moment. The regular models were paired in couples one was the good girl and one was the bad girl, usually when i work at fashion shows there is always some outfits i don't like but with Moschino was impossible, everything was flawless and perfect.
I was wearing my hair up in crossed braids, a typical Moschino's hairstyle, and i decided to go with black, red and gold, the colors of the Maison.
I highly recommend everyone to go on youtube or Moschino's website to watch the show because it truly was one of a kind.
Buongiorno a tutti, come state oggi? Ieri ho avuto l'onore di lavorare backstage alla sfilata per il trentesimo anniversario di Moschino e lasciatemelo dire è stata la sfilata più bella che io abbia mai visto!
La sfilata era divisa in due parti, la collezione 2014 e le leggende. Sono stata fortunata abbastanza da essere assegnata alle leggende, ho avuto il piacere di vestire e parlare alcune delle topmodels più iconiche di sempre come Pat Cleveland e Gisele. Hanno cominciato a ricordare i vecchi tempi e il loro rapporto con Moschino, io non potevo che osservare estasiata, davanti ai miei occhi si stava scrivendo un capitolo della storia della moda ed io ne ero parte.
Quando Franca Sozzani e Rossella Jardini, creative director di Moschino, sono venute a salutare le super modelle sono quasi svenuta. Non dimenticherò mai la risata fragorosa di Gisele o l'aroma del profumo che Pat spruzzava ovunque. La differenza fra la vecchia scuola e le modelle attuali è incommensurabile e me ne sono resa conto quando Pat osservava che le modelle odierne non "lavorano più le scarpe" prima delle passerelle; le leggende non indossavano semplicemente i vestiti, a loro importava.
La catwalk è stata esplosiva, le all star hanno fatto a modo loro, piroettando e ballando sulla passerella. Le modelle ordinarie erano appaiate in coppia, una era la bad girl ed una la good girl; normalmente quando lavoro backstage ci sono sempre un paio di outfit che non mi convincono, con Moschino è stato impossibile, erano tutti impeccabili.
Ho raccolto i capelli in due trecce incrociate, pettinatura tipica del brand ed ho deciso di indossare nero, rosso e oro i colori storici della Maison.
Consiglio vivamente a tutti di andare su youtube o sul website di Moschino a guardare la sfilata perchè è assolutamente da non perdere.
